Joshua Dorris, DMD grew up in the Chandler/Queen Creek area of Arizona. He attended Grand Canyon University where he studied Pre-Med Biology and then went on to graduate from Midwestern University-Glendale. During Dr. Dorris’ first year of undergraduate education, he became intrigued by medicine, but always preferred hands-on activity. After speaking with a close friend’s son who was a dental student at NYU at the time, he was convinced that dentistry was an excellent fit for his long-term goals. He soon began shadowing dentists and his passion grew from there.

Dr. Dorris finds dentistry to be very rewarding. He enjoys being able to give a patient the smile that they have longed for and establishing life-long relationships by taking the time to get to know his patients. He is a member of the ADA and some of his favorite dental procedures to perform are smile makeovers, implants and fixed prosthetics. He is happily married to his high school sweetheart and they have three beautiful children together, two girls and a boy. In his free time, Dr. Dorris enjoys family time, playing sports with his kids, cooking, long range shooting, riding motocross and traveling with his family to explore new places and things.
